It’s time to choose an outfit for another day at work, but what’s your after-hours schedule? Dinner with your boyfriend? Happy hour with friends? It seems difficult to choose a look that’s perfect for the professional environment yet also combines with fun moments after work. To help, we’ve selected a few options so you don’t have to change your clothes. Get inspired!
The return of polka dots
Ever present in the 50’s, the traditional polka dot pattern returns to the current fashion scene, but this time they appear repaginated and bring a modern look to the urban look, keeping the classic concept that is its trademark. Although the polka dot pattern has a strong and striking visual, it’s also possible to build cool and stylish looks. Combining it with shades like black, white or navy blue is always the best choice to include the print on a work look or even for a special occasion which calls for a more elaborate dress code.
These looks are great too at work! We love these cowboy boots and jeans combination, which you can wear with your skinny or flare jeans on dress-down Friday. Wear with shorts and or skirts, but go easy on the accessories so that is does not look like a costume. Play with it.
The color of summer: yellow! Yellow is fashionable and has been a prominent presence in the most diverse looks. By being sophisticated, the color is great for the work environment! A blazer in this color can pull together your outfit for the office. Yellow can be discreet yet engaging, therefore, it can create romantic looks as well as more serious business looks.
To use this color in your daily routine, choose pieces in mustard or saffron. For those who do not have the custom of using color, you can start with shoes and accessories. Use yellow as a compliment to your look and not as a main color.
Never forget to take into account your personal taste and clothes that make you feel beautiful. Ready to kill it at work and toast with friends?
